Winter Wonderland of Produce
While the frost of winter may not bring to mind a cornucopia of fresh produce, there are a variety of fruits and vegetables that grow during this season.
Citrus fruits are abundant as are root vegetables and those that thrive under colder conditions. Eating a host of colors is very possible in winter and will keep you healthier for the long term. It may even boost your immunity and ward off the common cold.
